And if it is a bit difficult to see, we put the image from the microscope on the big screen. The fossils and collection of minerals, stuffed animals and utensils from the Stone Age give you an idea of the development of life on our earth. We try to show as much fossil and recent material side by side as possible, so that you can see the similarities and differences. The museum staff will be happy to help you discover 3 billion years of natural history.
As soon as De Oersprong museum is allowed to reopen its doors, visitors can experience how big the mammoth really was. A life-size mammoth, 320 cm high, has recently been depicted in two dimensions.
