The Vloedgraaf is part of the Geleenbeek that flows into Susteren. The water board re-excavated this former long straight stream in 1992 to give it a more natural character. As a result, the stream now meanders more through the landscape.

The Vloedgraaf and the Rode Beek are two streams in Dutch Limburg that are part of the Geleenbeek watershed. The Vloedgraaf is a partially excavated stream that improves the drainage of agricultural areas and relieves the water from the Rode Beek and Geleenbeek streams.
