It is worth taking a stroll through the park of the Villa Merkel after visiting the gallery with its contemporary art, for example, and walking a bit along the Neckarweg if you feel like it.
The Merkel and Kienlin sheep's wool spinning mill was built on the Pulverwasen around 1870. In the immediate vicinity, Commercial Councillor Oskar Merkel built a villa with a landscape park.
