    Champex-Lac is a beautiful alpine village nestled in a splendid setting between lake and mountains. It's a delightful place to stroll through its narrow streets and admire its many traditional wooden chalets. There's plenty to eat and restock on food.

          Champex is an old summer resort and still a very popular winter vacation spot, even if the great times are clearly over: some hotels are empty or for sale. However, the location is wonderful, a small high plateau with a lake between forests and mountains, at the same time a balcony with a view of the valleys and mountains on the Great St. Bernhard. Little Canada is therefore also called Champex. With the extremely popular Tour du Mont Blanc that passes here, however, there is a lot going on here at times.
