On the way to Seebensee there are two possible via ferratas ("Hoher Gang" and "Immensteig"). If you would like to run both, you should definitely choose the Immensteig as the descent, as it is less demanding downhill and smaller climbing passages have to be crossed. With both ways you should leave the white sneakers at home and put on sturdy shoes. Climbing equipment is not necessary. Some of the paths are rope-insured.

It has some exposed areas where you have to hold on to the steel rope with both hands and have to look well where to step. In addition to surefootedness and freedom from giddiness, it also requires proper hiking shoes, sneakers are not suitable here.
