The Vesder (or Vesdre or Weser) rises under the name Weser on the High Fens close to the German border, at Roetgen, before crossing for several kilometers. On Belgian territory, the river soon flows into the Eupen reservoir, a drinking water basin. The derogation route starts at the bottom of the 63m high “Wesertalsperre”. The river flows into the Ourthe after 60 kilometers at Liège. The derogation route runs to Pepinster. More at wild-water.nl/dokuwiki/overzicht/belgium/vesder

The Weser is dammed up near Eupen to form the Wesertalsperre. It rises in the High Fens and flows towards the Ourthe, which in turn flows into the Maas. It flows through a beautiful valley.

The Weser (Eupen) is a river in Belgium. The water is rarely fished. 🐟 The most commonly caught fish here are brown trout, perch, pike, carp, rainbow trout and zander. The most successful fishing method is bottom fishing.

The Weser (also Weserbach; French: Vesdre; Walloon: Vesse; Dutch: Vesder) is an almost 70 km long right tributary of the Ourthe in Belgium. The first half of it flows through the German-speaking part of Belgium, then through the French-speaking part. Two kilometers of the upper course lie in Germany.
