Memorial stone for the Australian aircrew, which was shot down in the 2nd World War over Stadil.
The pilots rest at the spot where they crashed. A memorial stone near the crater filled with water, which the aircraft created south of the yard, Stadiløvej 8, 6980 Tim.
R.A.F .: "In connection with an air raid on Berlin on the night of 4 September 1943, the Lancaster EE 138 was fired over West Jutland."
The plane crashed west of Stadil and exploded as it hit Earth about 400 meters south of Ingemann Halkjær's yard.
