Characteristic of the Let de Stigterpad is the wide shell strip that connects many parts with other cycle paths and roads. This stretch along Landgoed Prattenburg is the most easterly part of this typical path. From the west a short climb towards the Defense Road and especially in dry and sunny weather the gravel shines white, a real Strade Bianche!

The Let de Stigterpad contains some of the most beautiful and well-known gravel strips of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. From Maarn to Rhenen you cycle on hardpack gravel through forests and over narrow paths between heathlands. Then through open meadows and past a beautiful castle.
The Let de Stigterpad is named after the first chair of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park: Let de Stigter for her efforts around the realization of the National Park.
It can be busy here, especially on nice weekend days, so mind your speed.
