The town hall was built in 1543-49 instead of the previous medieval building made of timber framing that burned down in 1535. It is a two-story plastered building under a steep gable roof. A renovation took place in 1860 and the side wing was added in 1927. The elaborately designed, staggered east gable made of brick with rich late-Gothic tracery ornamentation is elaborate. After a collapse at the beginning of the 17th century, the west gable was rebuilt as a stepped gable and changed slightly in 1980.

It is a two-story plastered building under a steep gable roof. A renovation took place in 1860 and the side wing was added in 1927. The elaborately designed, staggered east gable made of brick with rich late Gothic tracery ornamentation is lavishly crafted. After a collapse at the beginning of the 17th century, the west gable was rebuilt as a stepped gable and changed slightly in 1980. Opposite the town hall is the house where the famous Black Forest painter Professor Wilhelm Hasemann was born.

The town hall is very nicely renovated with a great facade design. It was built in 1543-49 in place of the half-timbered building from the Middle Ages that had burned down. The east gable of the Frauenkirche made of brick with late Gothic decorations is great, while the west side has been new since 1860 and has less decoration.
