opening hours

Schloss und Rittergut Hämelschenburg are open from mid-April to the end of October, from Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays.

The tours start on the hour. From 11:00 to 16:00 in April and October, and from 10:00 to 17:00 from May to September. At 1 pm there will be no guided tours. Tickets for the tours can be purchased at the museum shop, which opens half an hour before the first tour. Groups of 30 or more can book guided tours from the middle of March by appointment.

The castle café is open from 12:00 to 17:00 in April and October and from 11:30 to 17:30 from May to September.

Schloss Hämelschenburg is a moated castle in Emmerthal in the Weserbergland between Hameln and Bad Pyrmont. It applies with its art collections, gardens, a watermill, the farm buildings and the church as a major work of the Weser Renaissance. The castle is located on the street of the Weser Renaissance and Niedersachsenweg.
