The name says it all, the Pleasant Wildernis is a piece of wild nature where kids can enjoy themselves to their heart's content. No plastic toys, but tree trunks to climb on, tree trunks with ropes to transfer over, slides in the sand and lots of branches to build camps with.

This park is part of an area known as the Rozebroeken or the Sint-Baafskouter and used to be the country house for the monks of the Sint-Baafsabdij.

A beautiful piece of greenery with playgrounds and a place to picnic. You will also find the sports and recreation center Rozebroeken (with swimming pool complex).

This 'Pleasant Wildernis' has been landscaped as naturally as possible, while preserving existing plants. Grass ovals invite you to party, play or picnic. A path in gravel lawn strings them together. There are playgrounds, a natural play zone with a play hill and a play forest. Nearby is a pond that you can walk around or via a platform. Around the school in the area, a nature garden, botanical garden and wild flower path have been laid out.

Dogs can go to an off-leash dog meadow.
