The beautiful little place on the Elbe enchants with its pretty brick houses. A leisurely stroll through the city center is worthwhile, as is a short rest in one of the many street cafes.

Plan about 1 hour for a tour of the old town. Super-beautiful old houses. Documents are available at the Tourist Center. Then the sun is shining - perfect. Here you can look for a nice place, sit down and learn quickly what deceleration means.

Otterndorf (Low German Oterndorp) is a small town in Lower Saxony - until 1977 the district town of the Land Hadeln district - located both at the mouth of the Elbe and the Medem, which flows into the river here, as well as the Elbe-Weser shipping route. The North Sea resort of Otterndorf belongs to the combined municipality of Land Hadeln and the district of Cuxhaven. Its historic half-timbered old town is one of the special features.
