Often read that the lake is called a small lake, but Lake Filsø is anything but small.
Just a few kilometers behind the dunes of Henne Strand, the re-established lake Filsø glistens, rightly called "the botanical wonder".
Previously drained and farmed, the lake was renatured in 2012. Filsø is the second largest lake in Jutland with more than 50 plant species, as well as fish, otters and rare birds of all sizes. Filsø is a nature experience for the whole family.

In front of the lake there are good opportunities to eat your own souvenirs, benches and toilets next door. Cycle path 1 is mainly laid out with coarse gravel, which is sometimes slippery with the bike, large stones also jump off to the side, I would have wished for a better surface for this beautiful bike route.
