Here is the German Raiffeisen Museum. According to tradition, this is Raiffeisen's birthplace. You should definitely visit the permanent exhibition. The talking head Raiffeisen is an absolute highlight!

The museum is very well maintained on the outside. Unfortunately it was already closed. The inside is certainly worth seeing too. I will visit it at the next opportunity.

In eight exhibition rooms on two floors, the focus is on the most famous citizen of Hamm (Sieg). Numerous originals can be viewed: Raiffeisen's birth certificate, documents relating to his education, as well as documents and records from his various mayoral positions. A highlight of the exhibition is the original death mask, which was made immediately after Raiffeisen's death. And of course the founding period of the cooperatives is documented. All in all: a historical journey into the Westerwald in the 19th century.
