South beach Eckernförde - natural active beach

The south beach is separated from the dog beach by the Bundeswehr Technical Service. Here you will find the natural stretch of beach Eckernfördes. There is a beach playground, a barbecue area and a barbecue hut, beach volleyball fields, a beach restaurant and plenty of parking spaces nearby. This stretch of beach is the active Eckernfördes beach with plenty of space for beach and water sports. The south beach of the city of Eckernförde merges seamlessly into the beach and cliff area of the municipality of Altenhof. At the south beach pavilion there is an information board with flyers ready, as you can start the attractive steep coast hiking trail from here. Unfortunately or fortunately, there are no free beach chairs for daily or weekly rent on the south beach.
