                Not only sightseeing flights can be undertaken from the Altena-Hegenscheid airfield, but also fascinating panoramic views can be enjoyed from the Sauerland-Höhenflug hiking trail.
                The Sauerland high-altitude flight runs along the runway of the Altena-Hegenscheid airfield. The airfield is located on the 473 m high Hegenscheid and opens up wonderful views as far as Lüdenscheid and the Ebbegebirge.
