    The Neuzelle monastery brewery became famous for its black beer. A court decision was made as to whether the black beer with added sugar (long tradition) should be called beer. It shouldn't be beer. For tax purposes, however, the drink was seen as beer. They agreed on the name "Black Abbot". It's very tasty.
