When the weather is nice, you can sit outside in the Gänsemarkt (Goose Market) and take a break at Café Vitaly. There's also a globe fountain and a humming stone. Stick your head inside and give it a try!

The bronze sculpture "Diepholz Geese," created in 1988, is by the artist Heike Walter.

The Gänsemarkt was built on the private initiative of a Diepholz businessman. On December 18, 1988, the passage and the "Diepholzer Gans" were officially opened as the eponymous sculpture.
