The Marienkirche is a church built in East Westphalian Minden and dates back to the end of the 10th century founded in Minden Marienstift. Around 1022, the construction of the church began and gradually expanded. Initially still without a tower, this was later west to the actual church, which has been a Protestant parish church since the Reformation.
