The famous Calmàda climb begins from the hamlet of Sossai. We recommend MTB or gravel as a type of bike. Given the difference in altitude and length, even an e-bike. Initially on asphalt, the road turns into a good dirt road, which if done in reverse (descent from Nevegàl) becomes treacherous due to the numerous narrow gravel curves. From this route you can admire remarkable views of Valbelluna. The small church of San Gaetano is particularly evocative. The route is dotted with "casère", country houses, sometimes ruins. Nature reigns supreme even if the Vaia storm left its marks.
