Soltau is well known for the Heidepark park just outside the town. The old town hall is well worth a visit, and right next door is a historic building that houses the Toy Museum. At the Salt Museum, you can learn all about the salt production that once took place in this region, and you can enjoy the salt products at the Soltau Thermal Baths.
