    Brighton Pier, also known as the Brighton Palace Pier or the Palace Pier, is a historic pier on Brighton seafront.

    It was originally constructed in 1823 as a simple promenade pier, but was extensively rebuilt and expanded in 1899 to its current length of 1,722 feet (525 m).

    The much-loved landmark features a wide range of attractions including rides, restaurants, bars and arcades.

    The pier was damaged by a fire in 2003, but was subsequently restored and reopened to the public. Today, it remains a vibrant and bustling hub of activity, attracting millions of visitors each year.

      One of the oldest and most impressive piers in the UK, Brighton's famous landmark has become a destination in its own right: a waterside theme park with rides, restaurants, arcades and activities. Much of Brighton Pier's original Victorian charm has been preserved. You'll find old kiosks, filigree ironwork and even a cannon from the Chair Pier (which stood on the site of the current pier until it was destroyed in 1896).

        The Brighton Palace Pier (previously also Brighton Marine Palace and Pier or just Palace Pier) is a pier in English Brighton, England. A rival was the now destroyed West Pier.
        The first stake was set on November 7, 1891. The building was opened in May 1899.
        In 1973, the pier was damaged by a ship. The theater was removed in 1986.

        Today there are rides on the pier.

            Could provide a great place to sit, watch the ocean and the beach and relax. But unfortunately is much more of an attraction park with too much buzz.
