The Franconian and Upper Palatinate Jura are known for their numerous caves and grottos in addition to the valleys and towering rocks. One of the show caves is the Maximilian Grotto and part of the Jurah Caves adventure world (passport through the underworld - stamp booklet). A very popular destination for families in Hersbrucker Switzerland. Among other things, you will find a swallow's nest, a Buddha, an elephant, the Bavarian heraldic animal and much more. With a height of six meters and a width of three to four meters, the iceberg is Germany's largest stalactite. The cave is station 5 of the "Karstkundischer Wanderpfad" with station board with explanation is at the entrance.
