These wooden sculptures were designed and crafted with a chainsaw by wood artist Jonas Herrmann from Allenbach. They are a defining feature of this circular tour and depict important activities of certain professional groups for landscape development.

This farmer, pulling his cows behind him, describes how laborious farming used to be. Today, the "high-yielding cows" are mostly kept in barns; at today's prices, it's impossible to do otherwise.
