The Lenne Cycle Path near Hagen is a scenic cycle path that runs along the Lenne River. The cycle path is part of the longer Lenne Route, which runs a total of 142 kilometers from the source of the Lenne in Winterberg to its mouth in the Ruhr at Hengsteysee. The section near Hagen offers a well-developed, mostly asphalted route and is also suitable for less experienced cyclists and families. Here you can enjoy the nature of the Lenne floodplains, which are characterized by wide meadows and partly wooded slopes.

The route runs largely parallel to the Lenne and leads through quiet sections that are also appreciated by water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. In Hagen-Hohenlimburg there are sights such as Hohenlimburg Castle, and the tour ends at the picturesque mouth of the Lenne into the Ruhr at Hengsteysee. The cycle path is open all year round, although there may be restrictions in winter due to the weather. It is particularly suitable for relaxed cycling tours and is connected to other tours via the well-connected cycle path network of North Rhine-Westphalia.
