Several paths lead from the intersection at the water step. This path goes in a small incline towards the railway path.
For drivers driving downhill towards the water treading area: be careful, many people like to take a break there and the intersection can be full.

After relaxing at the natural spa, the climb is my personal highlight in this section of the Königsforst forest. From the water treading area to the top of the climb, it's "only" about 700 meters, but the 30-meter elevation gain is definitely noticeable. 800 meters further on, I reach the highest point, and then you can ride really fast again, especially on a bike, to the end of the "old railway path."

Super well-maintained Kneipp pool, very clean and with enough seating next to it. Absolutely great that something like this exists in Königsforst!
