Current seat of the Park, Villa Framarino is the only farm, among those in the area, to have been the subject of architectural restoration and to be currently accessible to the public.
The structure stands on the remains of an ancient Byzantine choria, near which a decuman of the centuration of Ager Varinus has been recognized; the documentation concerning the history of the farm is varied and the sources are often in contrast with each other: according to the most reliable, the property would have belonged to the noble family of Effrem from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century and then passed to the Marquises De Angelis, and, subsequently, in the 1835, to Duke Ignazio Framarino of the Malatesta of Rimini who would have bought it to use it as a summer residence.
