One of the oldest buildings in Magstadt is the "Old Town Hall," built around 1500. As early as the 15th century, the "Rauthus," as it is called in old sources, was the seat of the village's local government. It became a schoolhouse after the New Town Hall was built in 1607 and served the community as such until it finally became too small again in 1822.

The "Old Town Hall," acquired by the community from private ownership, was completely rebuilt and renovated in 1989. This prestigious building was part of the redesign of the Upper Market Square in the 1980s. Since then, the Upper Market Square has been redesigned again (February 2020–August 2021).

This is where the community administration office and the local history museum are housed.

The "old town hall", built around 1500, is one of the oldest buildings in town. It became a school house after the New Town Hall was built in 1607 and served the community as such until it was finally too small again in 1822.

The "Old Town Hall", privately owned by the municipality, was completely rebuilt and renovated in 1989. The representative building is part of the redesign of the Upper Market.
