The St. Catherine's Church, also known as the 'Briel Cathedral', is the most striking building in Brielle. The interior of the church is impressive, with imposing pillars, tombstones and monuments, as well as four beautiful stained glass windows. The church tower rises 57 meters high into the air and is accessible to visitors.

Opening hours:
The church is open to visitors between the end of April and the end of October. You can visit the church daily from Monday to Saturday between 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM, and also on Sundays in July and August. The entrance fee is €1 for adults and €0.50 for children.

This medieval church from the early 15th century is also called Brielse Dom. The church has imposing dimensions, but was never finished. According to the original plans, the tower should have been almost twice as high and the church should even have reached as far as the city well on the Wellerondom. You can climb the church tower via 318 steps. At the top you have a beautiful view over Briele and the island of Voorne.
