The Floating Pavilion is located in the Rotterdam Rijnhaven. This striking structure is a complex of three floating hemispheres. It will have a height of 12 meters, a total floor space of four tennis courts and can be moved in its entirety. For the first five years, the futuristic pavilion will be moored in the Rijnhaven and will serve as an exhibition and reception space.
The floating pavilion is not only special because of the floating spheres on the water, but also climate-resistant, innovative, durable and flexible. The floating pavilion is a pilot and catalyst for floating construction in Rotterdam. It will be in the Rijnhaven until 2015, after which it will be towed to another part of Stadshavens.

Public openings 2014:
Guided tours on registration, from April there are guided tours by Rotterdam Archiguides every 1st Sunday of the month. Register via info@rotterdam-archiguides.nl or 010-433 22 31.
