                    The Paternoster Cliff is a small but worthwhile excursion destination near Ilsenburg. It can be easily hiked from this place at the exit of the Ilsetal. The cliff is located directly on the easy hiking trail from Ilsestein to "Plessenburg". It rises to a height of 522 meters above sea level and towers over the Ilse valley by about 160 meters.
