The Rabasa lagoons are a very particular site in the city of Alicante. In the past they used to exploit the limestone area and at the end the quarries were left empty and when they filled with water they formed artificial lagoons. Due to the proximity to the city, they make an alternative getaway to the beach and the sea despite there not being many trees and therefore not much shade, it is a place to visit. Ideal for a walk with the family.

What a shame that this unique place is so ruined by the amount of waste that is carelessly dumped. This gives a stain on the beautiful lagoons.
