Anyone hiking along the Rhin Lakes should definitely take a detour around the Kellenseen. An almost mystical, beautiful place!
The two bodies of water are connected by a belt of reeds and fields of water lilies. Nestled in a large mixed beech forest area, they offer wonderful peace and quiet, not least to anglers. The water is rather cloudy, which is attributed to the extensive carp populations.

Attention! The Molchow Bridge is currently demolished (2018!). A new bridge is expected to be ready in 2019. Please note that there is no way to cross the Rhin! Please note when planning hikes! The next possibility, in the direction of Neuruppin over the Rhin is then except here in Stendernitz / Zerrutzel only in Neumuehle at the lock Alt-Ruppin.
