The Tidal Elbe from Rönne to Bunthäuser Spitze is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Marschacht and Drage in the Elbmarsch joint municipality, the municipalities of Stelle, Seevetal and the town of Winsen (Luhe) in the Harburg district.
The nature reserve with the license plate NSG LÜ 370 is approximately 598 hectares in size.
It is almost identical to the FFH area “Elbe between Geesthacht and Hamburg” and also includes the approximately 1.5 hectare area of the FFH area “Water system of the Luhe and lower Neetze” located below the Ilmenau barrage.
The nature reserve borders in the east on the nature reserve “Elbeniederung from Avendorf to Rönne” and in the south near Winsen (Luhe) on the nature reserve “Ilmenau-Luhe-Niederung” and north of Stelle on the nature reserve “Untere Seeveniederung”.
To the north it borders on the nature reserves “Auenlandschaft Obere Tideelbe” and “Heuckenlock” and the landscape protection areas “Altengamme”, “Neuengamme”, “Ost-Krauel”, “Kirchwerder”, “Over Haken”, “Ochsenwerder”, “Wilhelmsburger Elbinsel” and “Neuland”, all in the area of the city of Hamburg.
The area has been under nature protection since March 1, 2021.
The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Harburg district.
