The Ice Well of the Stepar is a work of Vacarisses (Vallès Occidental) protected as a Cultural Property of Local Interest. It is located in the north-west of the municipality, within the natural park of Sant Llorenç del Munt and Serra de l'Obac. It is close to the road that connected Manresa and Barcelona, close to the stretch that joined the new house of Obac and the house of Barata, in a wooded area that can be reached on foot.

The Ubach family owned the Vell and Nou de l'Obac farmhouses, which during the 17th and 18th centuries had great dynamism, thanks to the heyday of the vineyard and other rural activities, such as coal production, a glass furnace and the same ice wells, which allowed the ice to be sold in the city and thus diversify its businesses. The wells were abandoned at the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century. In 1990 it was restored by the Diputació de Barcelona, manager of the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt and Serra de l'Obac.
