The small Grohmann hut is located southeast below the Teplitzer hut on a field cockpit in a beautiful panoramic position high above the sandy soil. The easiest ascent leads from the mining museum in the valley of the Ridnauntal along the Fernerbaches to the natural monument Aglsboden with the quaint Aglsbodenalm. Over a terrain level up to the Upper Aglsfälle and through the deeply cut Egatal to the rustic Grohmannhütte. On the way back, the return migration through the Burkhard Klamm is recommended as a welcome change shortly after Aglsboden.

Very nice little hut, just 10 beds. If you stay here, dinner is brought to your table in a huge pan, and it's the only table!
Of course, you can chat to other hikers even better than in the larger huts.
I always use the hut as a drink stop with a view on the tour from Teplitzer to Schneeberg:

The Grohmann hut (Italian Rifugio Vedretta Piana, 2.254 m) is located in South Tyrol in the upper Ridnauntal near the Austrian border. Experienced mountaineers appreciate the small hut in the Stubai Alps as a rest stop - from here you can reach many three thousand meter peaks, such as the Agglspitze, Feuerstein, Schneespitze, Wilder Feiger, Wilder Pfaff, Sonklarspitze and Botzer. The hut is relatively easy to reach, but for other tours good walking shoes and sure-footedness are required.
