          Hoeve Kievit was established around 1800 during the (re)parcelling of the land around Deurne. The heath was planted with conifers and the best land was converted into agricultural land. Around 1900, the forests were cut down and converted into meadows and fields. The buildings initially consisted of a cluster with two functions, a farm and a country house.
