The chapel stands opposite the "Teufelskanzel" (the Teufelskanzel is unfortunately on private property and cannot be seen) southeast of the Ameisbergwarte.
It was built in 1964 by the owners of the property at the time, in memory of their parents Maria and Alois Brandl.
On June 21, 1964 it was solemnly consecrated as the "Aloisius Chapel".
