      The prince-bishop of Paderborn Hermann Werner von Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht had the mansion built by Ambrose of Oelde in 1696 on the remains of an older royal castle. The pillared portal in the elfachsigen main front is accessible via a staircase. The daintily curved gable over the three middle window axes dates from the 19th century. The excursion at the mansion is made up of matched spolia. At the rear, biaxial, originally single-storey corner pavilions with intersecting saddle roofs from the end of the 18th Century have been increased.
