In 1935 the CASALA factory building to the right of the boiler house was completed. For the inauguration
the employees gave their boss, Carl Sasse, the company symbol in stone: a chair on a globe. At that time, the company Voß & Sasse used the brand name CASALA above a chair on a globe, because they mainly made their living from exporting the chairs all over the world. This monument has been a popular meeting place ever since.
