Reisenberg was first mentioned in a document in 1045. The parish was mentioned for the first time in 1413, and in 1544 there was already an independent, stately feudal parish with Seibersdorf. The damage caused by the Turks in 1683 could not be repaired until 1703 and the church and tower were significantly increased. The core of the building is a Romanesque-Gothic fortified church with a western tower. The church has a baroque high altar.
