The Sanctuary of the Madonna della Fontana is located just outside the town of Camairago, in a place where tradition recalls that there was already a previous sanctuary from the 13th century. Here there was a bend in the Adda and the area was considered dangerous by fishermen and right next to where there is a spring a small chapel was built which is still present today.

The bend of the Adda not far from here made the area dangerous in the eyes of fishermen and next to the spring, not far from here, a small chapel was built which is still present today.
