Banderbach is a district of the city of Zirndorf and is located in Rangau between the cities of Fürth, Ansbach and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The Banderbach of the same name flows through the village, which is channeled and diverted from its original stream bed in front of Zirndorf into the Bibert. The Banderbach caused floods in the old town of Zirndorf almost every spring.
