This Heisje consists of rubble stones and bricks in the "imperial format". It is bricks (imperial bricks) standardized by law (1872) with a fixed dimension of 24cm x 12cm x 6.5 cm. The rear room is a pure earth space.
The entrance door with the additional skylight is also architecturally remarkable.
Today the gem is looked after by the Wittmann winery. On the bench next to the Heisje you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the indescribable view.

Two-room Heisje: First, caves were dug into the ground as a shelter, which were later expanded with stones. The stones suggest that this gem, which is maintained by the famous Westhofener Weingut Wittman, dates back to 1872. (And yes, there really are 2 rooms.)
