MTB Route Groesbeek: 17.3km 440hm
The 18 kilometer long Groesbeek route takes you through the forests of the Wolfsberg, the Hooghe Hoenderberg and Dekkerswald. There are three starting points. Here you can follow the purple approach route to the start of the route, which is a maximum of a few hundred meters. The route has a purple marking and has a technical difficulty rating of blue: medium.
The technically challenging Traumapad can be found on this route. This path owes its name to both the physical and mental traumas that the rider can experience on this path. The path is a 1.5 kilometer long descent with many flowy bends, high descending tub bends and rollers. Beginners are advised to follow the wide parallel path and turn left again almost at the bottom of the route.
The route also offers a lot of variety between wider paths and flowy single track. There is no shortage of tub bends, but also short turning work and hanging bends. The route also contains many elevation meters in the longer climbs and descents. A technical, challenging route.
A technical red (difficult) parallel path will be constructed in some places. The red trails require more technical control of the mountain bike and are therefore strongly discouraged for beginners. The route can be combined with the mountain bike route Nijmegen (15 kilometers) and the routes in Mook (15 kilometers) and Malden (10 kilometers).
