    Many years ago, a woman died here who is remembered. Along the Grosser Röder it is easy to walk (from Radeberg to Wallroda) or hike.

          A memorial plaque on a particularly striking rock formation near the Knochenstampe commemorates a tragic accident. The messenger Christiane Müller from Pulsnitz got lost in a snowstorm on March 5, 1756, fell down the cliff face and died. Since then, this rocky cliff has been known locally as the Dead Woman.

          The miller of the castle mill at the time, Johann Christoph Senf, put the names of the victims and symbolic signs (skull, cross, etc.) on the rock face in memory of the accident and later a first memorial plaque with the inscription (original text and spelling)[16]:

          The dark night
          brought me here
          I came into need
          and fell to my death.

          The Hüttertal Radeberg Association put up a new plaque in 2007.
