This boardwalk is beautifully situated, some parts covered in fairytale moss. This boardwalk partly leads through the low peat swamp. A spectacular way to experience the area.

A must to walk. Do use anti-mosquito agent in the summer time, because there are plenty of mosquitoes in this swamp area. But that shouldn't stop you from enjoying this area ☺️

Most hikers often forget the most beautiful part of the mud pits.
If you want to be sure that you can park your car, I recommend that you arrive early. It is usually busy later in the afternoon.

During the walking route I have to turn left at the end and I have arrived at the Halve Zolen Pad. A lovely stretch of about a kilometer on a boardwalk. The path leads over the swamp pits, a swampy stretch of swamp. The path meanders through the trees. This is great fun walking, but TIP bring mosquito repellent ;-)

Very beautiful area, and the walk across the railway bridge makes you feel like you are in the jungles of Africa, what a beautiful nature. The boardwalk is also fantastically beautiful. Rub in well for the insects because it is swarming with them.
