Saint-Étienne Church is a Romanesque-style Catholic church located in Ohain, a village which today is part of the Belgian municipality of Lasne, in Walloon Brabant.

A church in Ohain is mentioned in a document from 1154.

There are four phases in the construction of the Saint-Etienne church:

the lower levels of the bell tower, from the late Romanesque period (end of the 12th century or beginning of the 12th century);

modifications made during the Gothic period;

the stuccos that adorn the interior, made in 1759;

a neoclassical-style portal added in 1835.

A very old oral tradition gives the tower the nickname "Saracen tower"

Saint Stephen (Saint Etienne), to whom this church is dedicated, is one of the first seven deacons of the early Jerusalem community and is also the first martyr (martyr) of early Christianity. The church commemorates him on Boxing Day, December 26.

When Stephen loudly uttered his vision of the open heaven, "And he, being filled with the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God" (Acts 7:55), the people became so indignant that they drove him out of the city and stoned him.
