"On Thursday, April 3, 2014, the Velbert Technical Works (TBV) put up a sign at the limestone quarry of the historic towpath, which is intended to reflect the importance of the quarry.
In 1934, the first stones for the construction of the Langenhorst settlement were mined here, and they were transported to Langenhorst via the towpath with extraordinary effort."
