Beautiful, you should plan in hikes in Oberstaufen. Sturdy shoes and hiking poles are needed, because it goes steeply downhill and just as steeply uphill again. Caution is advised in wet weather, the ground can be very slippery,

Steep but exciting path between the Buchenegger waterfalls and the Hündlekopf / Buchenegg. You should have sturdy shoes. It goes up and down many steps. Half way there is a great view of the Buchenegger waterfalls. If you have climbed up, then you can strengthen yourself again with a delicious snack or cake in the Sennalpe Bärenschwand.
